Lazy Girl’s Quick 10 Minute Everyday Natural Beauty: 10 Must-Have Products for a Natural & Glowing Look

This is my 10 minutes or less daily hair, skin and makeup routine

I am not ashamed to admit that I am a lazy girl when it comes to my hair, skin and makeup. I want a natural, but put together look that looks effortless and I want it done fast – time is precious.

I don’t have time for and am not interested in a full face of makeup. I want my skin to breathe and feel nourished. I really just want to look like myself but more refreshed and awake so I can keep away the “you look tired comments”. Fact: I am a mom and moms are always tired.

This is my 10 minute (or less) routine and it’s great for anyone looking for that “I woke up like this” natural and glowing look that will make you feel good and look refreshed.

The 10 Products I Use:

This is my favorite toner. This toner is different than every other toner I’ve ever used. It really is what it says – milky. So it’s more like a cream than it is a liquid and you do not need to use a cotton round to apply it (even though they say to). Save the environment, ditch the cotton round, and just use your hands – trust me on this.

As soon as I get out of the shower I apply this toner while my pores are still open. I let the toner settle in while I deal with combing and styling my hair. It’s very hydrating and I don’t know what I would do without this. I could ditch every other skincare cream and serum and just use this and I would have hydrated nourished skin for 48 hours.

After I apply toner, I apply this all day face cream.

This face moisturizer smells so good. It has a mild sweet scent of goji berry and watermelon. It’s light weight and goes on nice and smooth without feeling greasy on my skin.

It can be used both day and night so if you are traveling you don’t need to pack two moisturizers. I actually found this product at Whole Foods but you can buy it on Amazon here.

My natural hair is somewhere between waves and curls on any given day. If I do absolutely nothing to it, I have a lot of fly aways and frizz and my waves and curls aren’t sure what to do.

My wavy curls and I appreciate a lightweight, fresh scented product that helps keep down frizz while taming my unruly waves. The JVN Complete Air Dry Cream helps give my waves and curls structure without weighing them down.

I apply a tiny amount to my hands and work into my hair with my fingers and then I just let it air dry! It’s that simple. If you wanted to, you could diffuse your hair with a blow dryer to help the curls but, after all, this is an air dry cream so I let it air dry.

The e.l.f. Ultra Precise Brow Pencil is my go-to brow pencil for filling in my brows. It’s a skinny little pencil but I get a lot of use out of just one. I love a good deal and these brown pencils are affordable and get the job done.

Use the brow pencil to outline or fill in your brows – it works well for both. I love that I don’t need to sharpen this brow pencil unlike some other brands. All you have to do is twist and the colored tip reveals itself like how a lipstick would. On the opposite side of the pencil is an eye brow brush for taming your brows.

Your brows will stay colored all day without feeling like you’re wearing anything. This product goes on smooth and with just the right amount. I’ve tried other brow products and have had to be careful to not put too much on or I end up having to really scrub my face to get the product off.

Thrive Causemtics Instant Brow Fix is perfect for filling in and setting your eye brows. It is tinted so you need to match the right color to your brow. Don’t worry if you get your shade wrong – Thrive Causemetics has a free return and exchange policy so you can get the right shade to match.

A little can go a long way with this product. I have a dark brown colored hair and eyebrows and use the shade Audrey.

What I love about Thrive Causemetics

Thrive Causemetics is a clean makeup brand that is sulfate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free and is made without phthalates and synthetic fragrance. I already mentioned that they have a free return and exchange policy so you can make sure you get the right shade to match your skin tone or eye brows.

This is my favorite concealer of all time. I’ve tried many. Most feel greasy, don’t provide the right coverage, or make my skin irritated after a day of wearing.

I can fall asleep with this on my face (don’t judge me but know that I have on many occasions done this and I am speaking from experience) and my skin never breaks out.

One of my favorite things about this product is that it really is buildable so if you don’t want heavy coverage, one application will do. If you need more coverage, just put more on. It blends so nicely and feels good on my skin – never greasy or cakey feeling.

I love a product that can be used for more than one thing and there are many products on this list with multiple uses including the ILIA Multi-Stick.

I have the shade “Dreamer (Warm Nude)” and it’s a warm, mauvey pink shade that works well for any season from winter to summer. It can be used as blush or a lip tint!

The multi-stick just twists open like a lipstick and you can smear or dab it on your skin without making a mess of your hands. I personally blend my blush in with my hands but it works just as well with a brush.

Another product on the list with multiple uses is this clear mascara by Physicians Formula.

I wear contacts so I have to be careful with what I put on and around my eyes. Almost every product will make my eyes itch or burn after some time – but not this mascara.

Physicians Formula Clear Diamond Mascara Mineral Wear comes in adorable iridescent gem packaging and works for your eyelashes, eyebrows, and even for keeping fly aways in place.

It stays on all day but also washes away effortlessly with just water or a mild face wash.

Yet another affordable multi-use product! The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in “Milk”.

I do not like glitter so most highlighters are out of the question for me, but this eye pencil can do many things including being a great highlighter.

I use it on the tip of my nose, corner of my eyes, and lips to highlight my philtral dimple (the technical name for the little V shape at the top/middle of your upper lip).

I had to save best for last. Another all purpose product that might actually bee magic (pun intended). The ingredients in Egyptian Magic are simple: Olive Oil, Bees Wax, Honey, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, and Bee Propolis.

I use this to heal broken skin and acne, as chapstick, and as a facial highlighter. I apply a tiny amount to my temples and upper cheek (making the shape of a ‘C’), my brow bone, the tip of my nose, and my lips. It offers moisture to your skin while also creating the dewey fresh look.

My husband uses this stuff to heal wounds on his hands from work and Crossfit. We apply Egyptian Magic to his broken skin and it heals his skin in just a few days without burning or causing more irritation. If we don’t use Egyptian Magic, his wounds take longer to heal.

This stuff really is magic.
